NASHUA – Jennifer Horn, Republican candidate for Congress, launched her first TV ad of the general election, titled “Pockets.” The ad began running on October 3, 2008.

Jennifer Horn: “It was on Paul Hodes watch and under his party’s leadership that we got into this economic mess. This Congress turned a blind eye to this impending economic crisis for two years. Paul Hodes and the Financial Services Committee have failed to provide any oversight and protection to the American people and their money, instead taking campaign handouts from the special interests regulated by his committee. The best way to fix our economy is to fire Paul Hodes.”

We debated bailing out Wall Street, but Washington’s just bailing out themselves.

Paul Hodes promised us ethics reform, but raked in nearly half a million dollars from special interests like the mortgage industry.

Then he failed to investigate Congressmen with sweetheart mortgage deals.

Paul Hodes votes with this Congress’s failed leadership 98% of the time.

No wonder our economy’s in the shape it’s in.
